Ysbyty Ifan is a small but historic village in the county borough of Conwy, north Wales. It was founded in the Middle Ages by the Hospitallers, hence its name (ysbyty "hospital/hospice" + Ifan "[Saint] John").
It has a population of about 100 people. There is a bakery shop, a post office, a milk shop and a rugby pitch with a playground. There is a small church and a bridge over the infant Afon Conwy.
The village has a primary school with two class rooms and a cafeteria.
The cottage of Foel Gopyn is a National Trust property.
