N Is a Number: A Portrait of Paul Erdős is a 1993 documentary directed by George Paul 'Duke' Csicsery about the life of mathematician Paul Erdős.

Erdős himself appears in the film. It is occasionally cited as giving a Bacon number of 3 to Erdős, the mathematician who is the center of the Erdős number universe. However, this requires a relaxation of the traditional definition of Bacon number to include crew, not just cast, as is often done for Erdős–Bacon numbers. It does give him a Bacon number of 4 without having to include crew, as of 2007,[1] and will give him a Bacon number of 3 once Frost/Nixon is released in late 2008.[2]
