M-71 is a short trunkline in the Lower Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan that serves as a connector between Owosso and M-21 to I-69 southwest of Flint. The route travels from Owosso southeasterly through the towns of Corunna and Vernon parallel to the Canadian National railway before terminating at a junction with I-69 at exit 118 northwest of Durand
