M-70 is the designation of a former state trunkline route in the U.S. state of Michigan. In the 1920s, the route originally connected Prescott in southeast Ogemaw County with Whittemore in southwest Iosco County. The route was later adjusted to run from M-76 near Sterling in Arenac County along a convoluted route through Maple Ridge (on the boundary between Clayton Township and Mason Township) and Prescott to end at M-55 north of Prescott. The designation was removed in 1959.[1]
