L B S Institute of Technology for Women

L B S Institute of Technology for Women (LBSITW), Thiruvananthapuram, is the first and only Engineering College for Women in the state of Kerala on the Malabar Coast of southwestern India. This is the second Engineering College managed by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, the other being L B S College of Engineering, Kasargod.

The College offers B. Tech. courses in 4 branches ie. Electronics & Communication, Applied Electronics & Instrumentation, Computer Science and Information Technology

This institution was inaugurated on 30 Oct 2001. Approved by the AICTE^{[citation needed]} and affiliated to the University of Kerala, LBSITW is a Government of Kerala undertaking.

The college is situated in the heart of the Thiruvananthapuram city at Poojapura which is about 4 km from Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station and the KSRTC Bus station.
