Kyper

Kyper, born Randall S. Kiper was an electro hop rapper based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His most successful output was in the late 1980s with a string of club hits including "Conceited", "What Gets Your Body Hyped (XTC)", "Tic-Tac-Toe", "Throw Down", and "Spin the Bottle". Kyper's success had an early end as rap and dance headed toward a more gangster sound in the early 1990s. His most successful hit, "Tic-Tac-Toe" charted in the Billboard Top 40 and got him a deal with Atlantic Records.[citation needed] The track borrowed guitar riffs from "Owner of a Lonely Heart" by Yes.
