List of Cyrillic letters

Kha, (Х, х) is a letter of the Cyrillic alphabet, representing the voiceless velar fricative /x/ in Russian, Belarusian and Ukrainian (except when followed by a palatalizing vowel, when it represents [xʲ]). It also represents the voiceless glottal fricative /h/ in Macedonian and some dialects of Serbian (such as Torlak) and Bulgarian (such as Shop). It derives from the Greek letter chi (Χ, χ).

Kha is also an alternative transliteration of the letter خ āʼ in the Arabic alphabet, which was used in Belarusian, corresponding to the above Cyrillic letter.
