Despotovac (Serbian: Деспотовац, Romanian: Despotova) is a town and municipality located in Serbia, around 130 kilometers southeast of Belgrade. Its name stems from Despot, a title of Serbian medieval prince Stefan Lazarević. In 2002 the town had a total population of 4,363, whilst the municipality had a population of 25,611.
