This article is about the zinc Dutch 5 cent coin struck between 1941 and 1943, during the WWII German occupation. For other Dutch 5 cent coins, see Dutch 5 cent coins.

The Dutch 5 cent coin struck during the World War II German occupation was a unit of currency in the Netherlands.

History

After pre-war 5 cent coins had been demonetised in 1950, it turned out that a very large amount was still unaccounted for. Therefore a second change to return the coins was given to the public in March 1951.
