The Estonian 5 Krooni bill (5 EEK) is a denomination of the Estonian currency [1]. Paul Keres, who was a world famous Estonian chess player, International Grand Master, prominent chess theorist (1916-1975), is featured with an engraved portrait on the front side of the bill. The 5 Krooni bill is called sometimes a "viiekas" meaning a five.
Order stronghold, the Narva River and the fortified stronghold of Jaanilinn is featured on the reverse side of the bill. The 5 Krooni bill is not one of the primary banknotes dispensed by ATMs in Estonia as well as the primary bill used for withdrawals or cashing checks. It is, however, one of the smallest denomination note most commonly used by Estonians on an everyday basis.
