(153591) 2001 SN263 (also written (153591) 2001 SN263) is a small near-Earth asteroid discovered by the LINEAR project in 2001. In 2008, scientists at the Arecibo Observatory discovered that the object is orbited by two moons, and with a distance of 11.2 million km at closest approach is the closest triple asteroid system to the Earth. The three bodies are close in size: 2001 SN263 itself is 2 km in diameter, while its companions are 1 km and 0.4 km in diameter.
