Wim Rietveld

Wim Rietveld, (* 1924; † 1985) was a Netherlands designer. Its father was an architect and designer Gerrit Thomas Rietveld.

In the Zeichenbüro of a factory for Industriewaagen he worked first as an indication apprentice and later than directors/conductors of the Zeichenbüros.

1950 it began designer training to the Koninklijke Academie into the Hague. Due to its good thesis (diploma) Willem recruited H. Gispen it on to work in his company Gispen. Rietveld worked for Gispen and it developed the successful Gispen collection „furniture for the simple Interieur “.
